  HAPPY EASTER!!!!
  
  Well, we'll just start off by saying this past week has been awesome. Both Mommy & Daddy have been home with us. Mommy did get a new job but that’s ok because Daddy will always be with us when Mommy has to go to work. We are very excited for Mommy though we will really miss her when she is not here with us. It has also been really nice outside this past week too so we have been outside every day playing. We love going outside to play.
  
  This morning we woke up and had a shower with Daddy. Since we figured it was a special day Paige decided she was going to make a poopy mess in her crib. We have decided to make that a "special day" happening, ha ha ha!!! After we were all cleaned up Daddy gave us a basket and one colored egg that had something special in it. We came downstairs with our baskets and there were a whole bunch of eggs hidden for us to find. It was so much fun. The best part was the hidden surprise inside the eggs (carob chips). We opened some Easter presents, had breakfast and then went outside to find more colored eggs. We really didn't care though because we just wanted the surprise inside. It was so nice outside again today so we spent the rest of the day outside playing.
  
  Today was very exciting and we love playing with our colored eggs!! Hope everyone had a special day just like us!!!

  Today was our first official day of potty training. Our plan was to let the girls go bare bottom (protecting all the furniture of course). Rene was busy today and couldn't be around so tackling the girls on my own was tough so I gave up by noon, LOL!
  
  However this morning as Paige was watching the potty video she got down off the couch stood beside the potty and peed. I grabbed her and put her on the potty so she still got quite a bit in the potty. Then later Emma did the same thing. We were SOOO excited.
  
  When Emma needs to go poo she usually tried to hide behind the chair. I noticed her doing this so tried to get her to sit on the potty as she was jumping up and down whining because she had to go. I was able to get her to the potty for half of the poo. YAY!!
  Beyond that I just could not keep an eye on both of them.
  
  Tonight before bed they wanted to take off their diaper so we put in the potty video and they sat on the potty and guess what??? Paige went pee all by herself on the potty YAY!!!
  
  So overall we had a little bit of success today. I think our plan for now is to just let them explore and try again hard core over Easter. If that doesn't work then we'll just keep working with it. Wish us luck and send the big girl potty vibes!!
