Thank you so much everyone for the all the birthday wishes!! We love you too!!!
So today was a GREAT day just like Mommy & Daddy said it would be.
We got up and Mommy & Daddy kept singing that horrible birthday song to us. It wasn't even our birthday today. Oh well, so we had breakfast and played for a bit. Then we got dressed and we sat down at our new Dora & Boots table & chairs for cake & ice cream. The cake was so good. Mommy & Daddy made a banana almond cake with a homemade cream cheese icing, YUM...thank you Mommy & Daddy!!
Then we opened some presents. For our birthday we got a Dora Table & Chairs (thank you Nanny & Papa V.), a sandbox, a potty with a potty book & video, a Dora & Diego book, Dora dolls that we can play with in the water, and a wagon. Mommy says that more presents are on their way, Yee Haw!!! We love presents!!
After presents Mommy & Daddy took us for a walk in our new wagon. It was a really nice day outside. We love our new wagon. We got to see the airplanes too. When we got home for our walk we were so tired we took a nice long nap. When we woke up we watched our potty video. It is so exciting. We are looking forward to learning how to use the potty so stayed tuned for our good news. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.

So overall it was a great birthday. We are sad that we couldn't spend it with more family & friends but Mommy & Daddy still made it very special!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAIGE & EMMA!!!!

Today is our birthday, we are 2 years old!! That's old, WOW!!! We didn't do much today because Daddy had to work and we decided to sleep the day away when we had our nap. Mommy & Daddy kept singing Happy Birthday to us, and man oh man are they horrible... we had to cover our ears and tell them to stop. Thank Goodness they finally stopped. We are having cake and presents tomorrow but today was still a nice day.

Today daddy brought us to see our first hockey game. We saw the Manitoba Moose play at the MTS Centre. It was a lot of fun. The night started off great because the light show at the beginning of the game was really exciting, we couldn't stop laughing and cheering. Once the game started we were a lot less interested but watched a couple fights and cheered when the Moose scored their first and second goals. The third and fourth goals were a little scary because it was so loud. We were a little tired and upset at times but we made it through the whole game! WE got home at 11pm at night, that's 4 hours past out bedtime. We were sad that Mommy was not there with us. We missed her so much and kept asking Daddy where she was. Thank you so much Daddy for this fun experience!

Today we brought the girls to see their first movie. They saw CURIOUS GEORGE. Paige really enjoyed it. She couldn't take her eyes off of the screen. She found George to be very funny and laughed quit a bit. Emma on the other hand was just a rollercoaster of emotions. Though she couldn't take her eyes off the screen either she was really in tune with all the emotions going on in the movie. She cried at anything that was not a 100% happy situation. On the upside she laughed at funny parts of the movie.

After the movie we got the girls Little George stuffies and they LOVE them. They are constantly talking to George saying "George, so key-ute", "George, funny monkey". Of course he gets lots of hugs and kisses too. Oh and a nice warm cozy bed to sleep in at night ;-)!!!
