Today was the MOST exciting day ever, it may have even been better than Christmas morning. Today we met Dora the Explorer. She was SOO cool and we even got our picture taken with her. You can check it out in the February Album. Mommy was only allowed to take one picture so its not the best but at least we have a special memory of meeting our favorite explorer. We actually had to stand in line for about 3 hours to see her but Mommy and Daddy made sure we were entertained and kept busy. There was actually lots of people and booths with interesting stuff that we found to help pass the time too.
So after we saw Dora we went in a little lounging area where we could play with some other kids... actually we think Mommy & Daddy were tired but thats ok cause we had lots of fun and made some new friends.
THEN... oh it gets exciting again.... we got to see Max & Ruby put on a little show for us. It was fabulous. We danced and clapped and we did lots of jumping. Its so hard to express how excited we were but we are sure you can imagine. Seeing Dora and Max & Ruby in one day ... WOW!!!!!!
So you would think after all this excitment and not napping we would have a nap right after we left... nope, lol ... we had more energy than ever. So instead of getting ready for bed, Mommy & Daddy took us out shoppping. We decided to be really good since they were so nice to have planned this exciting day for us. After grocery shopping we came home and got ready for bed. By this time we were so tired I think we were alseep before we could say "nite nite, Mommy & Daddy"!!

...thank you Mommy & Daddy for such a great day, we will treasure it always!!

We have been going through some issues lately with the girls taking their clothes off especially once they go to bed. Every night I have to go in and dress them again. And every morning they have their PJs off. Well this morning I told Paige to put her PJs back on and she dressed herself without any help from me :-)... well she did need help getting her pants over her bum!!!

Just wanted to give everyone a little update on Emma & Paige...
They are getting so big so fast and oh so smart. They can talk in sentences and have a huge vocabulary. They can count to 20. They know all of their letters and what sounds they make. They can't sing the alphabet yet though but thats ok. They know all their colours, shapes, tons of food items & animals. They can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
They love to color, play with play-doh, play with their blocks and build towers. They LOVE to read books. Their favorite books are Spooky Old Tree (its a Berenstain Bears book) and Dora (Little Star & Dora's backpack). Of course they still love to watch Dora on Tv but their favorite video is the Letter Factory by Leap Frog which is where they learned all bout their letters.
They have now been without their soothers for almost 2 months and have started to enjoy nap/bedtime now (thank goodness). They love to brush their teeth but haven't used the potty. They try to dress themselves and do very well putting on a shirt. It maybe backwards and inside out but at least they get it on :-). However these days the clothes are coming off more than they are staying on which doesn't please me but i guess it gives them more practice to put their clothes back on.
They can feed themselves now too (it was me holding them back) and their favorite food is grilled cheese sandwich.... they definitely take after their Mommy!!! The girls loved to flipped and pretend that they are frogs by jumping and saying "ribbit". They are very polite and know their manners. They will say Thank You, Your Welcome and sometimes Please. Its really cute when they do it to strangers. As I write this Emma is saying "pleeeease" with her hands together like an innocent little sweetheart, asking for the crayons so she can colour. How adorable is that??
Best of all they love to go shopping and talking on the phone!!! And if you come over for a visit they will be sure to show off for you. They'll show you how well they can jump and make you play catch with them. Its always chaos when company comes. ;-)

Emma & Paige are such a blessing to us. Its amazing to see them grow and learn. The little games they create and the constant giggles are such a joy!! They are such loving creatures who shower us with loads of hugs & kisses... still melts our heart, and we just can't seem to get enough!! I feel sad for all of you who are missing out on such beautiful & amazing little girls!!!

Today Mommy & Daddy took us to the Manitoba Children's Museum. We were there before a few months ago when Nanny Vokey was visiting us. We had lots of fun both times but at least this time we knew what to expect. Our favorite area was where we could play with blocks. We spent most of our time there. In that area we could colour too. We had the most fun on the tree slide. Mommy & Daddy let us climb the stairs all by ourselves and we weren't even afraid. The big kids that plowed past us were actually very nice too. We can't wait until we are bigger. Playing in the rocks was tons of fun too. We didn't spend much time at the water table because we got ourselves wet pretty quick. This time we were a little afraid of the train so we didn't spend much time in there. Oh but we did sit and get our faces painted. Paige got a heart and Emma got a flower. We were so cute and so good for the face painting ladies!!
The whole day was loads of fun but we were so tired afterwards. Mom says we fell asleep in the car within 5 minutes.
Yesterday Mommy And Daddy brought us to St.Vital mall where there is a little play area. It was a mad house in there but we were able to hold our own. There were some big kids in there that weren't suppose to be and they kept knocking us over. They are just lucky we were polite enough to forgive them and not knock them right back (or cry ;-)!!!! We had a lot of fun there too.
We can't wait to go and do more fun stuff. We over heard Mommy & Daddy talking about the Zoo when its gets nicer. We LOVE the Zoo, we can't wait!!!
