Princess Twins

October 2006

Tonight was Halloween. It snowed here yesterday so Mommy & Daddy thought it would be too cold for us to go Trick or Treating outside. We went to the mall instead. We had lots of fun showing off our beautiful dresses and meeting lots of people. Everyone thought we were SOOO CUTE!! I think thats why they were putting treats on our bags.
It didn't take long for us to get tired though. Mommy and Daddy had to do some shopping in Sears so we decided to crawl in the bed that was made there just for us. We must be special.

***And... No the princess' did not have any Halloween treats. They were actually more excited about the stickers they got. We gave the Halloween treats away to Rene's fellow classmates***

We have to be the luckiest parents ever...

Every morning we are awaken by Emma serenading us with either the "Wonder Pets" song, "ABC's" or "Baa Baa Black Sheep".

What a great way to wake up in the morning. :-)
    It is adorable!

After 2.5 years Mommy & Daddy finally found a babysitter for us. You won't believe this.... a set of twins. We are super special that we have babysitters that come in a pair and they really look a like. Their names are Michelle & Melissa and we really like them.
Mommy & Daddy decided to take Phoebee, Howie & Melony to a Pug Party so Michelle & Melissa came over to babysit us. They came over for supper and even put us to bed. We had so much fun. We played ball and other games. Then Melissa read us a bedtime story and we went sleep with no problems. The only sad part was when we woke up the next morning and they were not here.
We can't wait until Mommy & Daddy decide to go out again.

    Gotta love my children....

Tonight Emma was playing with a fake ice cream cone. We only had one because we had to throw the other one out. Paige was very upset that she didn't have one to play with. Emma was not in a sharing mood and we asked her to share this is what she said....

Daddy: Emma, how about sharing the ice cream cone with Paige now (this is after about 10 minutes)

Emma: No, ACT-UALLY, this is my ice cream cone.

Seriously what 2.5yr old says "Actually", LOL. I have no idea where they come up with this stuff. Anyway I left the room because I was laughing so hard.
Eventually she did share the ice cream cone and they were all hug, kisses and thank yous however Paige was NOT giving it back.

Here is an example of something the girls say that really blow me away. Tonight Paige heard something and she said...
"What was that noise? I better go see what's happening"

To me that is not a 2.5 year old sentence. Maybe I am wrong. Either way it just blows me away that they are able to come up with a sentence like that.

I can not express to you all how much the girls seem to have matured over the last week. The things that come out of their mouth just stump us. They started telling us how they are feeling whether it be happy, angry, cranky or sad. They have put on puppet shows and Emma even told us what the first letter of her name was without even teaching her, lol.

We also joined the YMCA and the girls have been enjoying themselves so much when we go. They amaze us with the things they can do and climb. They love to play ball & dance with each other too. Seriously they are just too cute. I definitely don't have babies anymore. They are really like little girls.

So while Daddy was away guess who showed up... NANNY & PAPA V. Oh my that was so exciting. Daddy got back the next day though. So while Nanny and Papa were visiting we did lots of fun things. We brought Papa to The Forks since this was his first time in Winnipeg. Did lots of shopping and the best activity was the Corn Maze. We had lots of fun. Unfortunately the next day Papa left. We were just starting feel comfortable with him and he left us :-(. Nanny stayed with us for another week though. Thank you Nanny & Papa for coming to visit us. We had a great time and we can't wait to see you again soon. We miss you!
