Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
We woke up this morning at our usual time, 8am. WE had a shower with Daddy and even got a massage. Mommy & Daddy dressed us up in our holiday dresses and thats when we realized this was going to be a very special day. Daddy brought us downstairs and there were SO many presents under the Christmas tree that were all for us!!! Oh my the excitement!!!! We didn't even want to eat breakfast we just started opening presents.
We got some princess dressup clothes (made Mommy very happy) and we got a truck, fire truck, airplane and helicopter (made Daddy happy). We got a cash register, dolls, A HUGE Dora pillow doll that is as big as us, a Dora fleece blanket, a Care Bear, Little People doll house, a big tent play house that is lots of fun. We also got a cleaning set with mop & broom, magnets with a huge magnetic/white board, Cinderella Easels so we can colour, an aquadoodle so Mommy can trust us to draw without making a mess. Oh and little puppies who look like Yoda (Nanny & Papa V's dog)so we have decided to call them Yoda for now. We also got so many cute outfits as well!
So we would personally like to thank everyone for making this a very special Christmas for us. Thank you for all the wonderful gifts!!
So after all the presents of course we had to play with EVERYTHING.... we must say it was quite overwhelming. Then Daddy brought us into the kitchen to help bake dessert that we were going to have later that day. We were having spelt carob chips cookies which are sooo yummy. We helped Daddy stir all the ingredients. He couldn't have done it without us ;-)!
After presents, playing and baking we were ready for a nap. When we got up we played some more while Mommy finished getting our delicious supper ready. Then we all sat down for a really nice dinner. Of course we always add a special touch to dinner at the table with lots of entertainment. Mommy decided to start a new tradition for us this year. We got to draw on a table cloth that we will continue to use at every Christmas. This way we can always look back on all the Christmas' we had together. Very exciting!!
After dinner we had some great family time to finish off the day!!!Comments:Add a comment:

Emma & Paige did the cutest thing this morning.... I let the dogs out to "do their business" and Paige went to the cupboard where the dog treats are to get them a treat for going potty. Luckily the treat bags are child proof, lol. I helped them open it and they each gave one of the dogs a treat. It was so cute. Usually the kitchen is blocked off so it was interesting to see that they picked up on something that they barely ever get to see. So thats all, just a proud mama moment! :-)

Well my little babies seem like little babies no more. On the spur of the moment I thought I would try and take away their soother (puckie). We had no problems at all. When I put the girls to bed i told them that puckies were for babies and they are no longer babies, they are big girl princess'! Paige looked at me and said "ok"... it was so adorable. She then began to ask "why" over and over again probably for about an hour until she fell asleep. Neither Emma or Paige cried, they were so brave and handled the situation like "big girls". I honestly didn't think it would be that easy but they certainly never seize to amaze me. Nap today went just as well. So, so long puckie... next step will be potty training or "big girl" beds!!!

Today I was out shopping with the little ladies and while Paige was in the middle of a wide open mouth laugh I noticed a molar. I took a peak just to make sure and sure enough she did!! AND... she laos had another molar coming in on the other side as well!!
I know I have mentioned this before, but gosh I have the BEST little teethers EVER. I had no idea they were even cutting teeth!Comments:Add a comment:
